LOST RIVERS
                 VODKA

Naming, creative concept and TOV rollout.

Work produced for Forty Eight Point One.

An established craft beer business expanding their offering beyond the tap, Lost Rivers were looking for a creative concept, name and brand story for their new vodka. Building on their established approach, I crafted a narrative around their lost river of choice: The River Tyburn.

Snaking around the boundaries of Westminster’s ‘Thorney Island’, the River Tyburn forms an impression of a serpent’s tongue, or double headed snake; both of which are historic symbols of the underworld. A passage also frequently used by 8th century Vikings, I combined this with nordic snake mythology — representing the duality of order and destruction.

Grounding the concept in the above research, I crafted a narrative that begs the question: when Lost Rivers drinkers lift their vodka to their lips, which way will the glass tilt — towards calm, or chaos?

Coil your way along the RIVER and let the current stake your fate. DIVIDE tainted waters. Roll the dice deeper. Hold the fort. WILL the night and split IT raw. BE the one to pillage the double-headed depths for refuge or rebellion. ORDER your conscience, OR simmer in CHAOS. Pepper your curiosity and ask the question — will you sink, or swim
